President Bola Tinubu is set to embark on a two-week working visit to Paris, France, departing on Wednesday.
According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the visit will focus on evaluating his administration’s mid-term performance and assessing key milestones.
The statement, titled “President Tinubu to Embark on Working Visit to Paris,” highlighted that the retreat will provide an opportunity for the President to review ongoing reforms and engage in strategic planning ahead of his administration’s second anniversary.
“This period of reflection will inform plans to deepen ongoing reforms and accelerate national development priorities in the coming year,” the statement read.
The Presidency emphasized that recent economic strides, including a notable increase in Nigeria’s net foreign exchange reserves to $23.11 billion—up from $3.99 billion in 2023—demonstrate the impact of the administration’s fiscal policies.
Despite being away, President Tinubu will remain actively involved in governance and continue to oversee national affairs remotely.
He is expected to return to Nigeria in approximately two weeks.
