Media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has shared his renewed optimism about Nigeria under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Initially skeptical, he now believes the administration’s policies, particularly in the power sector, are paving the way for progress.
In a recent interview with Nigeria Info FM, Lagos, Daddy Freeze urged Nigerians to be patient, emphasizing that the country’s deep-rooted challenges cannot be fixed overnight.
“I was worried at first, but seeing how this administration is handling things, especially in the power sector, I feel more hopeful,” he said.
He compared Nigeria to an overloaded truck with a failing engine, explaining that any leader taking the wheel would face significant struggles. Despite these challenges, he now sees Tinubu’s leadership as a potential turning point for the nation.
“Nigeria’s problems are massive, and expecting any government to fix everything instantly is unrealistic,” he added. “But so far, I believe we finally have hope.”
While public opinion on Tinubu’s administration remains divided, Daddy Freeze’s comments reflect a shift in perspective—one that suggests cautious optimism about the future.
