Tinubu Urges Governor Fubara to Fully Comply with Supreme Court Judgment

Abuja, Nigeria – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara to fully and immediately comply with the Supreme Court’s judgment, stressing that adherence to the rule of law is essential for maintaining peace and order in the state.

Speaking at a meeting with a delegation from the Pan-Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) at Aso Villa on Monday, Tinubu emphasized that Nigeria is governed by the rule of law, and any attempt to disregard judicial decisions could disrupt governance.

“Without the rule of law, there will be no order or governance,” the President stated, urging all parties involved to respect the judiciary and work towards political stability in Rivers State.

The Supreme Court ruling in question has sparked political tensions in the state, and the President’s intervention is seen as an effort to restore calm.
