Gospel singer Testimony Jaga has opened up about how a wrongful arrest in 2011 led him to give his life to Christ.
Speaking in an interview with Pulse, Jaga revealed that he was arrested and jailed for six months for a crime he didn’t commit.
Wrong Place, Wrong Time
According to the singer, he was living with a friend who had promised to help his music career when a group of people involved in theft came to the house. When the police arrived, everyone in the house, including him, was arrested.
“I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. When the police came, they arrested everyone around. That was when I saw the reality of life.”
Despite being innocent, Jaga had to endure six months in prison before he was cleared of all charges and released.
Turning Point: Finding Christ
His time in jail became a life-changing experience, leading him to embrace Christianity and fully commit to God.
“I got myself into that mess, but with God’s mercy, I was saved. After six months, I came out of jail and gave my life to Christ.”
Since then, Testimony Jaga has built a successful career as a gospel artist, using his story to inspire others and share his faith through music.
