Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has expressed his admiration for his father’s leadership, despite facing continuous criticism from detractors.
While addressing a group of youths in Yola, Adamawa State, Seyi boldly declared that his father is the greatest president in Nigeria’s history.
Since the beginning of 2025, Seyi has been touring northern states, meeting with governors and key political figures. As part of his engagements, he has also been actively distributing food items and participating in community outreach efforts.
During a recent visit to Kano in March, the 39-year-old joined residents, including NNPP state chairman Hashimu Dugurawa, in breaking the Ramadan fast. He has also traveled to Yobe State to interact with young Nigerians.
A video of his speech, now trending on X (formerly Twitter), captures his strong defense of President Tinubu’s administration.
Seyi Tinubu Defends His Father Against Critics
Reacting to growing opposition, Seyi expressed frustration over the persistent attacks directed at his family.
“It was never about politics, yet they keep coming for me, for my family, and for your father—Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the greatest president in Nigeria’s history,” he said.
He further praised his father’s leadership, highlighting his contributions to youth empowerment and economic growth.
“Tinubu is the only president who has built a platform for young people to thrive. The only leader who has shaped an economy that works for everyone—not for personal gain,” Seyi asserted.
Seyi Tinubu Stands by His Father Amid Economic Challenges
Despite the economic difficulties facing Nigeria, Seyi remains confident in his father’s ability to lead the nation forward.
In a social media post, he echoed President Tinubu’s commitment to national progress, referencing his father’s words from the presidential inauguration speech and the 63rd Independence anniversary.
According to Seyi, Nigeria is in capable hands, and he firmly believes in his father’s vision for a prosperous future.
