Reality star Queen Mercy Atang has fired back at online trolls targeting her marriage, revealing shocking details of the messages some women have been sending to her husband.
Taking to her Instagram page, Queen Mercy addressed critics who have been attempting to stir drama in her relationship. She exposed how some women flooded her husband’s DM, especially when rumors circulated that their marriage had ended.
Queen Mercy’s Response
She wrote:
“This isn’t the first time these ‘strolls’ have found their way into my husband’s DMs to say ridiculous things. You trolled me, I reacted, and then you ran to his DMs to say you want to drag me. Did someone tell you I’m scared of being dragged? I’ve had enough of it. You have no idea what I’ve been through when it comes to online trolling, I’ve developed a thick skin for it.”
The reality star further revealed that after rumors of her marriage crashing surfaced online, women flocked to her husband’s inbox, offering themselves as better alternatives.
“Some were bad-mouthing me, others boldly offering to marry him, claiming they’d be more ‘obedient’ than me. I’ve really seen it all in this space.”
Considering a Social Media Break?
Queen Mercy expressed her frustration, admitting that she sometimes wants to stop posting about her husband or even hide his Instagram account due to the negativity.
Despite the backlash, she made it clear that while trolls are free to criticize her, they shouldn’t cross certain boundaries:
“Please, if you want to drag me, go ahead, but don’t cross the line. Because if I decide to make an example out of you, you won’t like it.”
She concluded her post by warning those who attempt to ruin her marriage to stay out of her business.
