According to recent leaks, Sony’s next-generation console lineup will include not just the traditional home console but also a new portable system. Leaker KeplerL2, known for accurate tech scoops, shared that the PlayStation 6 is slated for release between late 2027 and 2028.

The rumored portable PS6 won’t match the PS5 in power, suggesting it will target a more affordable or mobile-first audience rather than compete with high-end hardware. It’s also expected to launch after the main PS6 console, possibly positioning it as a companion device rather than a standalone flagship.

Sony hasn’t confirmed any details, but this would mark a return to the handheld market since the PS Vita, hinting at a more integrated hardware strategy for the next console generation.
