Nollywood actor Kunle Remi and his wife, Tiwi, have joyfully welcomed their first child, marking the end of a journey filled with challenges, faith, and perseverance.
The couple shared the heartwarming news on Instagram, revealing their baby’s name and gender while also opening up about the difficult medical discovery, prolonged bed rest, and an emotional 80-day stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) before their child’s arrival.
A Journey of Faith and Strength
Reflecting on their experience, Kunle Remi expressed gratitude and hope, saying:
“From an unexpected and unsettling medical discovery to complete bed rest. From juggling demanding work schedules to hopping on flights, both locally and internationally.
“From an early arrival to the unfolding of God’s perfect timing. From waiting, countless NICU visits, and clinging to God for 11 weeks and 3 days (that is 80 days of faith). Our story is living proof that God is God—unfailing, unwavering, and faithful till the very end.”
With hearts full of joy, they named their child “EEMI OLUWA,” meaning “The Breath of God.”
