Hon. Henry Nwawuba, the Executive Secretary of the National Assembly Library Trust Fund, and his management team paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Interior headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday, which was confirmed by Interior Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
The visit, as disclosed through the Ministry of Interior’s official X (previously Twitter) handle, says the engagement focused on developing a strategic collaboration to create a knowledge-driven ecosystem that would speed up national development.
The post announced that the meeting offered a chance for a thorough discussion on how the Ministry and the Trust Fund could work together to support institutional research, data-driven governance, and capacity building amongst institutions involved in the interior.
“Yesterday, I received the Executive Secretary of the National Assembly Library Trust Fund, Hon. Henry Nwawuba and his management team in my office. The meeting focused on strategic partnership in building a knowledge-driven ecosystem that fuels national development,” the post stated.
Minister Tunji-Ojo underlined the need for collaboration amongst key governing institutions, pointing out that information and reliable research resources are essential for developing successful policies, bolstering internal security, and advancing the country.

Hon. Nwawuba responded by applauding the Interior Ministry’s willingness to encourage knowledge-sharing efforts and create customised research frameworks that improve the performance of the public sector.
As the meeting came to an end, both parties agreed to formally establish working partnerships and look into ways to empower officers and policymakers through cooperative knowledge-exchange programmes, digital libraries, and learning tools.
