FC Barcelona has officially unveiled their striking new 2025/26 away kit, designed in collaboration with global sportswear giant Nike to honour late NBA icon Kobe Bryant. The launch celebrates Bryant’s legendary Mamba Mentality and his well-documented admiration for the Catalan club.
The bold design features a gold base with violet and black trims, echoing the iconic colours of the Los Angeles Lakers, where Bryant spent his entire career. A subtle snakeskin pattern runs throughout the fabric, a nod to his famed nickname, “Black Mamba”, and his relentless pursuit of excellence.

A standout feature of the kit is the inclusion of the “Kobe Sheath” emblem on the inner collar — the logo representing Bryant’s legacy of focus, discipline, and self-belief. This symbol reinforces the shared values between the basketball legend and Barcelona’s footballing philosophy: resilience, ambition, and constant improvement.
“This kit is more than a jersey — it’s a tribute to a global sporting icon,” said a club spokesperson at the official unveiling.

Bryant, who tragically passed away in 2020, was a long-time admirer of FC Barcelona and often expressed his connection to the club, having lived in Europe during part of his childhood and developed a deep appreciation for football.
The 2025/26 away kit will be worn for the first time during Barcelona’s upcoming preseason tour and is expected to feature prominently in their Champions League and La Liga away fixtures.
