Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed that three key attackers will be available for selection ahead of their Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.
With Chelsea fighting to secure a spot in the Champions League for next season, the team has struggled in recent weeks, having lost three of their last five league matches. Aside from a dominant 4-0 victory over bottom-placed Southampton, Chelsea’s attack has been underwhelming, managing only six goals in their last eight games across all competitions.
Maresca has had to make adjustments due to injuries, even deploying winger Pedro Neto as a makeshift center-forward. However, the international break has come at a crucial time for the Blues, as they welcome back key players Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke, and Nicolas Jackson for the important match against Tottenham.
In his pre-match press conference, Maresca provided an update on the trio: “Cole is back, he’s okay. He’s better. Noni is better. Nico is better. They are all good.”
Chelsea will be hoping the return of these players will help boost their attacking options as they look to get back on track in the league.
