This summer, Al Hilal made bold moves for some of Europe’s top players. But money wasn’t enough to seal the deals. Bruno Fernandes, Theo Hernández, and Victor Osimhen have all reportedly turned down offers from the Saudi club.
Each of these players was offered eye-watering salaries. But in the end, they all said no. Fernandes is focused on leading Manchester United and helping the club return to glory. Theo Hernández wants to stay with AC Milan, where he remains one of the most important pieces of their defense. And Osimhen has made it clear several times that his ambition is to stay in Europe and compete at the very top level.
These rejections speak volumes. It shows that not every player is swayed by massive offers. For some, it’s about legacy, competition, and pushing their careers to the highest possible standard.
Al Hilal will keep looking, but for now, the message from Europe’s elite is simple. The money might be tempting, but their football dreams lie elsewhere
