The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, has hosted the public presentation of the Socio-Economic Impact of the ARISE Agenda, marking two years since assuming office. The event, held yesterday, August 7, 2025, highlighted his administration’s progress across multiple sectors without incurring public debt.

In a statement shared via his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Governor Eno reflected on his inaugural address, where he pledged transparency in tracking the state’s development.

“From infrastructure, healthcare, aviation, agriculture, job creation, and social impact, we have made real progress without borrowing a Kobo,” he said.

He also announced a collaboration with the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) to strengthen transparency and provide verifiable data on the administration’s impact. According to him, this partnership is part of efforts to ensure that governance in Akwa Ibom remains data-driven, inclusive, and sustainable.

Governor Eno disclosed that over 50 major projects are currently ongoing in the state, alongside a renewed partnership with the federal government to further accelerate development.

“We press forward, united and committed. God bless Akwa Ibom State,” he concluded, expressing appreciation to all stakeholders who have supported his vision.

The ARISE Agenda, launched at the start of his tenure, has been positioned as the blueprint for the state’s socio-economic transformation, with emphasis on long-term growth, social welfare, and accountable governance.
