The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, is participating in the 27th African Regional Conference of INTERPOL, taking place in Century City, Cape Town, South Africa, from 27th to 29th August 2025.
The IGP, accompanied by senior police officers including the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of INTERPOL Nigeria, is joining Police Chiefs and INTERPOL Heads from across Africa and other member states at the high-level forum.
The conference brings together security leaders to deliberate on pressing issues of regional and global security cooperation, with a focus on strengthening collaborative efforts against transnational crime and enhancing law enforcement capacity across the continent.
The participation of Nigeria’s Police Chief underscores the country’s commitment to international security partnerships and its active role in advancing strategies for collective safety and peace.
