The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has confirmed that voting is currently underway in the 2025 by-elections in Edo State.
In a post shared on its verified Facebook account on Saturday, August 16, 2025, the electoral body announced that voting had commenced at Polling Unit 15, Ward 01, Ovia North East Local Government Area.
The update from INEC indicates that the electoral process is progressing as scheduled, with voters turning out to exercise their franchise.
