The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially announced a one-week extension of the closing date for its ongoing recruitment exercise. The decision was confirmed by the Secretary to the Board, A.M. Jibril, in a statement shared on the Nigeria Customs official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Sunday, August 3, 2025.

Originally scheduled to end on Monday, August 4, the recruitment portal will now remain open until Monday, August 11, 2025, to allow more interested Nigerians to apply.

“This extension is aimed at giving additional opportunity to qualified candidates who are eager to serve in any of the paramilitary services under the Board,” Jibril stated.

The CDCFIB reiterated that the only official application portal for the recruitment process remains:

Applicants are urged to use the authentic website and avoid falling victim to fraudsters or unofficial sources.

The Board further emphasized that the recruitment process is completely free of charge and remains committed to fairness, transparency, and merit throughout the selection process.

This recruitment drive covers the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigerian Correctional Service, the Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Immigration Service.

Eligible applicants are encouraged to seize this opportunity before the final deadline.
