Liverpool Football Club has officially announced the squad numbers for the upcoming 2025/26 season, with several new signings receiving their shirt numbers ahead of the campaign under manager Arne Slot.

Among the most notable assignments is German attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz, who has been handed the iconic No. 7 jersey, previously worn by club legends such as Kenny Dalglish and Luis Suárez. The move signals Wirtz’s anticipated central role in Liverpool’s new attacking setup.

Hungarian left-back Milos Kerkez has been given the No. 6 shirt, further cementing his place as a key part of the Reds’ revamped defensive line. Meanwhile, French forward Hugo Ekitike will wear the No. 22, and Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili takes the No. 25, with Freddie Woodman assuming No. 28 as part of the goalkeeping contingent.

Jeremie Frimpong, another exciting addition to the squad, has been assigned the No. 30 shirt, while rising youth talents Armin Pecsi and Trey Nyoni will wear No. 41 and No. 42, respectively.

Conor Bradley, continuing his progression within the squad, retains No. 12, a sign of his increasing importance under Slot’s plans.
