Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Eberechi Eze, the dynamic attacking midfielder currently playing for Crystal Palace, is now open to a summer move to Arsenal, following direct contact between the player’s camp and the North London club earlier this week.

Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday, Romano reported that the 26-year-old England international is attracted to Arsenal’s long-term project and sees the potential move as a vital next step in advancing his career.

“After direct contact revealed on Monday, Eberechi Eze has opened doors to Arsenal move in clear way. He’s open to joining Arsenal project and attracted by this chance for his future. Arsenal are informed on release clause details and more,” the post read.

Eze, known for his dribbling flair, creativity, and attacking versatility, has long been admired by top Premier League sides. His standout performances for Crystal Palace last season, including 11 goals and 6 assists in the Premier League, have placed him on the radar of several elite clubs.

Arsenal, under manager Mikel Arteta, are reportedly looking to strengthen their midfield and attacking depth as they prepare for another title challenge and a return to the UEFA Champions League. Eze’s profile, combining technical finesse and Premier League experience, is seen as an ideal fit.

While Arsenal have yet to submit a formal bid, sources indicate that the club is actively evaluating the financial implications of triggering Eze’s release clause, reportedly in the region of £60 million.

Crystal Palace have made it clear that they are under no pressure to sell, but Eze’s openness to the move could influence negotiations in the coming days.

With the summer transfer window heating up, Arsenal fans will be watching closely to see if the club follows up with a formal offer and brings the Greenwich-born star to the Emirates.
