In his post on Monday, Wike expressed his heartfelt gratitude to President Tinubu for his unwavering support, stating:
“The newly constructed road from A2 Junction (Abuja – Lokoja Road) to Pai Town, Kwali Area Council, FCT, was commissioned yesterday by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. We are grateful to the President for his support always. Today, it will be the road linking Idu with Zuba road”.
The successful completion of these projects represents a larger effort by the FCT ministry to improve living conditions in the satellite settlements of the FCT, increase economic opportunities, and close the infrastructure gaps between urban and rural areas.
With the Idu–Zuba road anticipated to be included in future inaugurations, Wike’s declaration indicates increased federal backing for rural infrastructure and a move to extend development initiatives outside of the central city.
